Starbucks Strato Frappuccino Blended Beverage: A new layer of flavour, launching today

SEATTLE, USA – Starbucks classic is launching the  Strato Frappuccino blended beverage – a name inspired by the Italian word strato, meaning “layer.” The Strato Frappuccino Blended Beverage combines creamy cold foam with familiar flavors reimagined in modern, textured ways.

Whether it’s the sweet touch of spice from the brown sugar and cinnamon of the new Brown Sugar Strato Frappuccino, Blended Beverage, the brightness of Strawberry Matcha Strato Frappuccino Blended Beverage , or the richness of Salted Caramel Mocha Strato Frappuccino Blended Beverage, these drinks offer a fresh take on a classic, without losing the fun that made Frappuccino a favorite.

The new beverages are available in Starbucks stores starting today, July 8, for a limited time.

The new Strato Frappuccino Blended Beverage is also one of the first beverages to be tested through Starting 5 – a new program in which five coffeehouses test new menu items before they roll out nationally. Elizabeth, a partner in California, works at one of the cafes that tested Strato Frappuccino, and saw firsthand how the new drinks are resonating.

“The Starting 5 creates a space where we feel heard, valued, and able to see our feedback directly influence our coffeehouses. I loved seeing how customers were drawn to the Strato Frappuccino right away and how partners (baristas) loved the creativity and engagement with customers when sharing details about the new beverages. This modern take on the Frappuccino really is a game changer!”
