{"id":140288,"date":"2022-05-06T00:45:50","date_gmt":"2022-05-05T22:45:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.comunicaffe.com\/?p=140288"},"modified":"2022-05-06T09:37:43","modified_gmt":"2022-05-06T07:37:43","slug":"le-piantagioni-del-caffe-presents-the-new-fluid-coffeeshop-in-florence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.comunicaffe.com\/le-piantagioni-del-caffe-presents-the-new-fluid-coffeeshop-in-florence\/","title":{"rendered":"Le Piantagioni del Caff\u00e8 presents the new Fluid coffeeshop in Florence"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>FLORENCE, Italy &#8211; Fluid \u2013 Specialty Coffee &amp; Sharing will be inaugurated on 25 May, the innovative coffee shop conceived and created by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comunicaffe.com\/le-piantagioni-del-caffe-unveils-how-it-intends-to-bring-quality-coffee-to-a-wider-audience\/\">Le Piantagioni del Caff\u00e8<\/a>, the renowned coffee roasting company from Livorno devoted to specialty and premium quality coffee, and <a href=\"https:\/\/ideafoodandbeverage.it\/en\">Idea Food &amp; Beverage<\/a>, the Milan-based strategic marketing consulting company.<\/p>\n<h2>Fluid \u2013 Specialty Coffee &amp; Sharing<\/h2>\n<p>The specialty coffees from Le Piantagioni del Caff\u00e8 are coffees that can be traced back to their estate of origin, which have obtained the highest scores during tastings carried out according to the SCA (Specialty Coffee Association) and CQI (Coffee Quality Institute) protocols.<\/p>\n<p>Fluid is a place of inclusion and openness, designed to meet the aspiration of Le Piantagioni del Caff\u00e8 and Idea Food &amp; Beverage: to initiate curious people into the world of specialty coffees with a laid-back and friendly attitude, in order to contribute to the evolution of this segment in Italy also and to develop a more sustainable supply chain consisting of higher quality coffee.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_140292\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-140292\" style=\"width: 627px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-140292\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comunicaffe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/FLUID1-1-696x928-1.jpeg\" alt=\"fluid coffee\" width=\"627\" height=\"836\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.comunicaffe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/FLUID1-1-696x928-1.jpeg 696w, https:\/\/www.comunicaffe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/FLUID1-1-696x928-1-225x300.jpeg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 627px) 100vw, 627px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-140292\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The inside of Fluid (photo credits by food and beverage ideas)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>An innovative design<\/h2>\n<p>At Fluid, radical and innovative choices have been made: an all-day sweet and savoury menu provides an excuse for spending time at Fluid at all times of the day, also to work and study, and the use of Modbar coffee machines by La Marzocco (incorporated into the counter that spans over 7 metres and reaches the street, without creating any visual barriers) allows customers to treat the counter as if they were at a diner.<\/p>\n<p>In doing so, the barista is able to educate customers and tell them about the characteristics of the different coffees served, the flavours, the methods of production and the various brewing methods.<\/p>\n<p>Five Mahlk\u00f6nig E65S GBW coffee grinders, distributed by DM Italia, are located on the counter: one for every coffee available for espresso extraction, so as to create a tasting pathway that introduces the consumer to the great variety that exists on the coffee scene and allows the customer to choose a different coffee to savour each day.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_140293\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-140293\" style=\"width: 696px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-140293\" src=\"https:\/\/www.comunicaffe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/FLUID4-696x522-1.jpeg\" alt=\"fluid \" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.comunicaffe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/FLUID4-696x522-1.jpeg 696w, https:\/\/www.comunicaffe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/FLUID4-696x522-1-300x225.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-140293\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Fluid (photo credits by food and beverage ideas)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another Mahlk\u00f6nig EK43S is dedicated to grinding coffee that is to be brewed in alternative ways: Chemex, V60, Aeropress and Batch Brew. These are all brewing methods that produce a beverage that is different from espresso, to be enjoyed slowly, so that the coffee can be experienced in a relaxed and attentive manner.<\/p>\n<h2>The Poursteady machine<\/h2>\n<p>They have made an innovative choice in the field of filter brews: a \u201cPoursteady\u201d machine, which is typically used to aid baristas in making Chemex or V60-brewed coffees, is positioned in the middle of the dining area to allow customers to brew the coffee on their own, thereby creating an original and extremely engaging experience.<\/p>\n<p>Rawfish developed the original platform for the Fluid website, which is integrated with management software, via which customers can place an order directly from their table, from home or while they are walking, so they can pick up their order and avoid queues. The website also allows customers to chat with staff, check their consumption habits and take part in games and contests.<\/p>\n<p>Skill Evolution has provided a 4-m<sup>2<\/sup> led wall panel that permits training content to be shared, as well as the details of orders that are ready and being prepared to be viewed.
